Closed Registries & Diversity

I want to share this article that I found quite fascinating. Clearly, I am all in favour of keeping genetic diversity in the Saluki which is why I am a proponent of incorporating desert lineage into my western lines.  I don’t necessarily think my breed is in danger of having limited diversity, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t do my part to keep that status.

Something to ponder, at any rate.
