Freckles is a going concern, to put it mildy! A trouble maker through and through, she is extremely curious, disobedient, quick as a flash, and smart as fox! Despite having the ‘hooligan’ gene, she is always endearing and in your face! Freckles is more sleek in build than her sister Ginger. She has excellent bone and muscle development and is decievingly heavy for her build. Given that she is smooth and, in my opinion, the smooth type is much less forgiving of conformation flaws, we hope she takes after her sire who is a remarkable smooth Saluki. Freckles seems to have inherited her sire’s head planes, tuck up, legginess, and coat colour … but we think she has inherited a topline more similar to her dam, as well as her looser feet. Freckles still has a lot of growing to do, so we hope that she will come together more as she matures.
Freckles has received her SPDBS critique registration number (CRN) and will be registered with AKC soon. She currently resides with her co-owners in Washington, USA and we hope they will soon have her out coursing and in the show ring.
